How Do I Email The Expo Center?

What Are The Expo Center's Office Hours?

The Expo Center office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.  We are happy to schedule after hours appointments in advance.  You can schedule an after hours appointment by calling us at (219) 464-0133.

What Type Of Events Are Held At The Porter County Expo Center?

Big or small, we do it all!  Wedding receptions, social events, corporate events, trade shows, car & motorcycle shows, boat & RV shows, horse and dog & cat shows, concerts, fundraisers, fairs, tractor pulls, seminars, meetings, circuses, demolition derbies, holiday parties and company picnics are just a small sample of what we can host.  And don't forget about our own Gigantic Indoor Garage Sales and New Year's Eve all-inclusive celebration.  CLICK HERE for more information about the types of events the Expo Center can host.

How Do I Reserve A Date?

Dates are reserved when we have received a non-refundable booking fee. We will use this booking fee as a credit towards your final bill. The easiest way to start your event planning is to complete and electronically submit a Request For Proposal to the Expo Center for your event.  CLICK HERE for information about requesting a proposal.

Are Caterers And Concessions Provided For Events?

We have a list of approved caterers and concessionaires that are licensed and experienced that you can choose from.  CLICK HERE for more information about our approved caterers and concessionaires. 

Is Security Required?

Security is required for events with overnight camping and ALL events where alcohol is served.  We do reserve the right to require security at any event that we deem necessary for the safety of the guests.

Can We Bring Our Own Liquor?

No, there is no outside liquor allowed on the the grounds.  The Expo Center offers a variety of bar service packages, and we will work with you to choose a bar package that will fit your needs and budget. CLICK HERE for more information about the bar service packages offered by the Expo Center.

Does The Expo Center Require Insurance For Events?

We do require a general liability policy with a minimum of $1,000,000 coverage.

Does The Expo Center Offer WiFi?

Yes, we have FREE wireless internet.

Are The Expo Facilities Air Conditioned?

The Expo Main Building, Expo East Building and the 4H Building are heated and air conditioned.  The Buggy Wheel Pavilion and the livestock barns do not have heat or air conditioning.

Where Do I Find Information About The Porter County Fair?

The Porter County Fair is organized and operated by the Porter County Agricultural Society and the Fair Board.  CLICK HERE to visit their website.

Where Do I Find Information About Upcoming Events At The Expo Center?
